I have not won anything after 5 months of enter over 100 sweeps a day. GRRRRR
Does anyone have any positive feedback?
I haven't won either in about 5 months. However, I am not going to give up. Good things will come our way.
Canuckii: Do you mind if I ask your strategy? That's a long time not to win anything?
Peg. I save all the contest from this site and others to my favorites and enter each morning. I use an auto fill feature. Which works when I type my email, and a window pops open and asked do I want to fill in the rest. I click ok and the form is filled out. All accept the state which I do. I do not do this every day just when I am in a hurry. There is no rhyme or reason to me using auto fill. I am up to 130 contest a day right now.
Thanks for the concern, and feed back.
canuckii: Do you read the rules? I can't say I do that every single time but on all the big stuff I want..I read the rules. I do use Roboform a lot but not on big (single entry) contest of things I really want. I have started typing those out. I would suggest that you make sure you are checking the forms to make sure all the boxes that need to be checked are checked and that you qualify. I pretty much have those forms memorized by about the 3rd time I enter. I use to enter like that but now I am more selective. I have been pretty lucky over the years with some big wins. I don't usually waste my time on little contests unless I am bored or really want the prize. I try to make sure I am always in some contests with lots of prizes so I can get some wins along the way. I also double check the rules cuz the sweepstakes websites can be wrong. Read or at least scan the rules for a few weeks and you may be surprised. I think lots of entries get thrown out for the little things. Just my opinion. Hope this helps! You may just be in a slump!
Is google chrome auto fill considered robo form?
Melissa: No, roboform is a program you download. It also fills forms and stores passwords. I really like it. They have a free version but I have the one you pay for AND IT IS SO WORTH IT!!! I have 4 accounts set up so my hubby and older kids can enter contests too. They like the sports and Nascar stuff and I'm in it for the trips and other stuff. It is technically a macro and could get you eliminated but I take my chances. We never enter the same contests because we share a computer and they know your ip address. I also use it when I buy stuff online. You do still need to look over the form and sometimes hand type or add something. And you need to watch for the boxes to check.
Hi Canuckii, I have one more suggestion to add. Contact your email provider and see what kind of spam filters they might have in place.
Thank you will do that.
Thank you peg. With single contest entries I just type everything in. I ike your suggestion about double checking rules. I currently only check rules to confirm if the contest is a daily entry or not.
I may be in a slump...lol. But I would think a slump means I have won something, but I have not. lol Maybe a slow start.
I appreciate the advice. Good luck.
canuckii: Once you pay taxes on a win, you will watch the stated value! If the value looks off or airfare is not included, I stop and think if I really want it. I won a trip to NYC in Feb. The value was $4300 and they will send me a 1099. It was sooo worth it and Essence Magazine made it an incredible weekend for me. They could not honor part of the winnings so they let us choose what we wanted to do in NYC. Sweet! Not into fashion but very much a foodie. Sent us to one of the best restaurants in NYC for a $400 dinner. Flew my friend from Atlanta to meet me and set it up for us to have dinner with my nephew in NYC at one of the very best restaurants. Gave me $1000 to spend there but I saved that to spend on my hubby and adult kids! Stayed at an incredible hotel right next to Central Park. Had a blast!
Sweet. Thanks for the advise.
