Is it usually by phone or mail or email? I don't usually pick up calls from numbers I don't recognize so that's why I'm asking. Also, if I get an email it's probably just going to go to spam and I hardly ever check that. How am I supposed to know if it's not a scam? Thanks for any tips!
OMG Wayne, that was an instant win? That is very cool. I don't think I could even clear my screen after that one. It would have to be my screen saver or something. lol.
It's one of the vacation daily contests. listed as Powerade Olympic Games, but yeah I was shocked to see that and yes it stayed up for a good 15 minutes...
WAYNE: do u use a robo form or hand fill out these sweepstakes entry forms? if so isnt that a lot of time?
Yes and no it saves me all kinds of time. It's nothing but a toolbar that you put on your computer like any other and it fills out all your personal info for contests or whatever I would say 98% of the time the other 2% I have to fill them out.
is it something u have to pay for?
Again Yes & No you can just go to there website and you can get there free version or buy the main gizmo which I have. I paid I guess $29.00 for it I think and for along time I used the free version. When you buy it you can put it on every new computer you buy just keep your info. Just go to roboform.com
thx
just curious: Wayne and/or someone else that might have an answer or opinion on this question...Can someone make a good living or make a decent amount of consistent income running a contests/sweeps site similar to this one (Lucky Contests) and other sites where you just list a bunch of different sweepstakes for people like you and I to enter ?
Wayne: Are you aware that some contest forbid the use of robo entries. The Kenmore Sandwich contests rules state: Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents (including, but not limited to, Promotion entry services) will void all entries by that entrant. I admit I do not always read the rules completely but this one just jumped out at me.
Congratulations Wayne!!!! Really nice win! I just won a basketball in the Dole contest. Not much but I will take it.
With roboform you have to be at the computer to operate roboform. What you are referring to is some device that actually tries to enter contests on it's own. Alot of contests ask for you to list some scrypt they have listed to prove you are not a machine. Like I said I have won several contests using roboform, there again I have to be at the computer actually do the contest.
Ahhhhhh! Good to know. Glad for you that it didn't apply.
I use autofill which was automatically on my computer programs or if it is something that I fill out daily I just have to type the first letter and it remembers for that field. Doesn;t always work but saves time
I saw Wayne's response about how he has been contacted when he has won a prize. My sister won a Chevy Cruze in the Dare to Cruze Sweepstakes a few months ago. They contacted her by phone (only) on a friday and by the time she got the message after she arrived home from work, she couldn't return the call until monday. She did call back on monday and she confirmed that yes..she won the car. I just started entering contests because of my sister's win, so I haven't won anything yet. But, I'd say, try to check all communication you list in an entry form to be sure that you don't miss a prize! Good luck to everyone!!!!
Thanks for the Roboform tip Wayne so much faster and congrats on your win!
Should you ever want to buy it, it is yours to use on your computers forever just save your info!
Do you think buying it is worth it? What is so much better than the free one? Just wondering. Appreciate the feedback.
Now they do have afree roboform that includes all your personal info like name, address, city, state, zip code, phone numbers and birthdays & SS numbers. It also will keep up with up to 10, I think of users names & passwords for different things you would use it for, like credit cards and bank info or contests sites. Me, Yes I bought it cause I can't do without it...the full version does all the above and much more info.
I also use roboform. It was a good investment. It also works for any online forms so if I buy something online, it fills out the form. I have won 3 major contests and 2 were from forms I filled out locally. In February I won a trip to NYC from Essence magazine using roboform. The trip was amazing even though it turned out that we didn't get the tickets to Fashion Week. We didn't want to go there anyway so Essence sent us to one of the best NYC Restaurants where we had a $400 dinner for 2. I am a real "foodie" so I was in heaven. The trip was totally first class all the way!! Roboform claims it is not an "automatic" entry. I sometimes just tab through all the spaces. I have also won several small prizes through roboform but I only enter contest that I really want to win.Sometimes I take a break for a few months or weeks.
Damn good investment, one I couldn't live without & I too have won several contests...

Anytime I have won it sure wasn't by phone, some of the times I get a letter or registered letter and or e-mail from the Company I know I entered the contest. I just won $500.00 the site actually told me I had instantly won $500.00 after entering the contest. But anytime I win something or somebody says I won, if I recognize the name yeah if not it's more yeah RIGHT!
